San Francisco to Paris in Two Minutes

I was reading the AirPigz blog and came across a cool video that is worth a repost. This is a time lapse taken out of the window of an airliner. The route was San Francisco (SFO) to Paris (CDG). Pictures were taken with a Canon 5D Mark II for more detailed info on the gear he used checkout the vimeo link.

“I shot a photo roughly every two miles between take-off in San Francisco and landing in Paris CDG to make this airplane time lapse. More of these wacky time lapses at beepshow.com

Twilight Landing Into LAX

I came across another cool video that is making the rounds. This is an in cockpit view of an instrument approach into Los Angeles International KLAX at sunset. It was shot with a Canon S95 in HD. I have the same camera and as soon as I take it into the cockpit I will be sure to write an airplane specific review. According to the video description it is SADDE Six arrival into LAX at 2,000ft.

Rob Holland’s Video – What I See 3

Rob Holland is an aerobatic airshow performer. He is one of the top aerobatic pilot’s in the country. I recently found this great video he filmed during the Daytona Wings and Waves Airshow 2010. It is a high definition camera mounted to his head and it gives an incredible pilot’s perspective view on his entire airshow routine. Check it out in full screen HD, you will not be disappointed.
